When Chris Ogbonnaya was cut last week by the Texans he cleared waivers and was signed to the practice squad. The Texans released James Davis to make room for Chris. On Monday the Browns plucked Ogbonnaya from the Texans practice squad and placed him on their active roster.

All the Browns need to do now is sign Quan Cosby and get Jordan Shipley next year...

When a team signs a player from another teams practice squad is it true they must keep that player on their active roster the rest of the year baring injury?

I believe they have to keep him on the active roster for 3 weeks, or at least pay him the equivalent in minimum salary if they cut him. I think they can stick him on PS after that but he has to clear waivers.

He should lose weight and become a specialist back... He's good out the backfield so use him as such.... Damn the in-between the tackles runs ... He can be an x-factor type

Nice little game from Silent G today playing on 3rd downs, 3 carries for 15 yards, 5 catches for 43 yards on 5 targets. Nice to see him get a shot and do well.

Chris killed it this week, 11 yards on like 33 carries is what I read on espn.

Figured that was a typo, it was actually 37 yards on 11 carries.
