Brooks should enter rotation instead of Beverley.

First of all I am very impressed with his attitude. This guy has been through a lot since that injury against San Antonio. He went from the franchise player of the team to a third string PG. I think he has become a much more mature player after all the tough breaks. Never b****es about PT. Stay ready for his number to be called.

I am sure you guys still remember vividly what AB brings to the table. When he returned to the Rockets I thought he was already done and couldn't play anymore..After these 3 games, I realize I was dead wrong.

I love Bev's defense, rebounding, toughness. But he is a terrible floor general. He simply can't run the team.

On the other hand, AB hasn't regressed much. He is still a deadly shooter and his quickness has not gone away. If not for his performance, the Minnesota game and last game would have gone the other way around.

Some may argue Bev is a better defensive player. While I agree to this wholeheartedly, I think AB brings a all-around game. I have to say Bev's defense is overrated here. Ever since he was promoted to starter, I haven't seen him pressure the ballhandler as much as he did last season. AB is a much better scorer than Bev. And I think what he adds to our offense is more than enough to compensate for the loss of PB's defense.

Bev is a defensive specialist. Other areas of his game is solid at best. AB is a much better all-around player than Bev, period.

When Bev was out those few games and Lin and Brooks were in it showed that Bev was needed. AB can have a few spot brilliant games but in the game to game grind, Brooks deficiencies would be revealed. Bev is needed. Bev is your 2nd or highest minute point guard, however McHale chooses to allocate minutes. The team needs Harden or Lin, and both for tough match-ups but Beverley is a huge contributor to the energy and fabric of the team.

Not a good idea. They all should play imo. Depending on matchups and who we play should determine how much playing time each point guard should get... and how good each one is playing game to game. We must maximize all our talent versus taking one over the other like a competition battle to play.

Bev is not pressuring the ball as much because mchale has him playing too many minutes this season.

no reason to change the line ups at this point, mchale just needs to bring Lin & brooks off the bench with ASIK, Garcia, casspi, needs to do the 9-10 man rotation like he said he wanted to do in the off season. This will help bev be able to put more pressure on the ball if plays 25-30 mins. & Lin brooks can come off the bench & put points on the board together in the backcourt.

I don't know what you guys expect from Bev defensively. In almost every game Beverley's played at least 30 minutes, the opposing point guard shot terrible percentages. Only exception is Calderon.

    11/27 - Jeff Teague: 0/5 0%
    11/25 - Mike Conley: 2/14 14%
    11/23 - Ricky Rubio: 3/9 33%
    11/20 - Jose Calderon: 4/8 50%
    11/13 - Tony Wroten: 7/18 38%
    11/09 - Chris Paul: 5/13 38%
    11/07 - Steve Nash: 3/11 27%

Both should be in the rotation.

just do what miami does. when one of their shooters goes cold they switch him out with another 3 point shooter (Miller, Battier, Lewis, etc....). Keep him around and when Garcia or casspi has an off week, throw in brooks.

That's it, use him as a 3 pt threat and occasional slasher but not as a PG much. Best guard combo is Lin and Bev, better balance/chemistry than Harden/Bev, Harden/Lin. It doesn't matter who Brooks is paired with when he's scoring well.

lol man I love Jeremy more than anyone here, im just not an idiot about it.

Then watch Bev goes outr and Brooks starts--Jeremy is 67th man--then you idiots will hate Brooks just as much as you hate Bev now.

    Its not all about offense.

I prefer Jeremys free flowing play as the 6th man.

He's done well but that's not all on Bev. For instance, did Parker hold Westbrook to 2-16 last night for 6 points? And why did Reggie Jackson have 10-14 for 23 points? Rick Rubio hardly ever shoots well. You have to look at steals and rebounds and just watch the game to see what happens, did the player get open looks and just flat out miss the shots or were they hounded on defense. How was the screening, team defense rotations, etc? Bev is hounding less because he can't hound as much but still playing very good defense but at the end of the year, if a Paul, Parker, K Irving, Curry or high scoring PG gets hot, they'll score on anyone.

I say we trade Lin while his value is at his highest. Bev/Brooks rotation is the better 1-2 punch. Combination of offense and spot up shooting with defense. Those are two things that are needed when you are playing along side James Harden

The offense is being run by chandler parsons, not Beverly. The team is starting to evolve and parsons is taking on that role, particularly since harden has been injured.

AB is an option off the bench, but not one you build around. People, we are at the top of the league in scoring. We need to shore up our defense

i still think lin/bev is better then harden/bev. As for brooks maybe lin/brooks cause bev/brooks are too small

It is kind of stupid to question a coaching staffs decisions when the team is winning at a 69% clip don't you think? Why mess with success?

Lin should be traded so that Brooks can enter rotation as a 6th man
Get a rookie for 3rd backup PG.

I think all of them should get minutes. And as someone else stated, the minutes should be determined on matchups and who's hot that game. Harden's minutes should also be cut down, so he can be fresh down the streach of games and come playoff time.

Really smart of you to raise this just when Lin gets injured :-(

We have a nice guard rotation; we need all of them. And when Canaan is ready, we'll also bring him up.

Canaan should start. AB can be 6th man, and Lin/Bev can come into the game together with their legs tied together like in a 3-legged race, for maximum offensive/defensive punch.
