these are the little burst of stardom that he gives us glimpses of, give him til next year to show that hes going to be a better shooting and all around offensive t.j. ford. hes the blur... and my favorite player at this point in time. i think its his potential thats got me so interested.
Key word = part He had little or nothing to do with Roy and Aldridge lighting us up. There were a lot of reasons we lost this game including a few boneheaded plays by Brooks down the stretch.
A lot of people thinking he played good because of that. I guess they missed his turnover sequence that pretty much took us out the game. He still isn't the only reason to blame for us losing tonight though.
That was pretty crazy. Man, the last phantom foul call at 1.5s hurt. Brook could had a chance to rewrite some NBA history.
Well mathematically, Brook's 27 second performance was more efficient than Tmac's 33 second performance Brooks point per second =.407407 Tmac point per second =.393939
Brooks pretty much scored when he wanted. If he's out there on the floor, forget about him making plays for others tell him to attack first because he's not a distributing PG. He'll make more plays for others attacking.
I watched it in slo-mo a few times. Rudy's foot definitely did NOT make contact with anything but the floor. Nobody tripped him. If anything, Lowry MAY have grabbed his right arm but I couldn't really tell from either angle of the replay. Man, that would have been nuts if we got the ball back and had a chance to tie/win the game.
That pass he made to Scola for the AND1 earlier in the game was pretty sweet. He's not a true PG but if he's playing aggressively, he has good enough vision/passing skills to where he can find open players. I'm not saying he should be starting over Lowry just that he can become that much more effective with a few tweaks to his game. He may or may not be able to make those adjustments as he gains experience. For the amount of money he makes, and given that Lowry is now in the mix, I think it's too early to give up on him. He's definitely shown signs of "clutchness" dating back to his time in college.
