The lower bowl of the arens looks kinda empty. It looks a lot like the Toyota Center during Rockets games. ;)

    [Scola] Bronze match against Lithuania

He has 10 points in the first quarter and he made a slam dunk!

with the intensity of Scola paired with artest...teams will not want to go in the lane...we may be the best defense in the league this year..

    Scola is hella intense

If Lithuania doesn't learn to defend the perimeter, this game could get ugly. If the refs were calling inside fouls, Argentina would be up by over 20.

What's with Denver Nuggets players being a**holes in the Olympics? First Carmelo cheap-shotting Scola, now Kleiza getting an unsportsmanlike against Oberto. Guess that's what happens when you know you have no chance at a championship in the NBA.

Lithuania not getting 3's to drop, unable to get any easy buckets down low, and can't generate offense inside. Looks to be a 20+ win for Argentina at this rate.

And Scola has played like a beast.

Kleiza is acting like he's big time.
He needs to chill, especially with jacking up shots.

This is the 2nd game in a row Kleiza has been a complete no-show. If Lithuania hadn't folded up and blown the semi-final to Spain, I wouldn't stay up to watch the gold-medal game.

Anybody else think it's corny that Snapper Jones and the other announcer are in New York instead of being live at the arena in Beijing?

    Final score: Argentina-Lithuania 87-75

Scola fouled out after 25 mins play, scored 16 points (7/14FG, 2/2FT) and grabbed 3 rebs.
