    Trump had already provided $15 Billion subsidies to farmers,

    will he do the same for US retailers such as Home Depot, JC Penny, Kohl, etc.?​



    Executives at Kohl’s, JC Penney, Home Depot speak out against tariffs,
    as trade war with China drags on;     so have Nike and Under Armor​


    Tariffs could reduce retailers revenue of >~ $40 billion

    Now US is providing subsidies to farmers while China finally can ramp up their subsidies to tech and software companies. Thanks for Trump's war.

    Real GDP Q1 2019 at 3.2%.

    Damn, those tariffs and that shut-down sure are affecting the economy. Highest Q1 real GDP since 2015.

    Oooooh... did we have this level of tariffs on China starting on Jan 1st 2019 or did we recently raise them with a threat of putting tariffs on all goods instead of most?

    You are wrong, there are only socialist governments when Democrats are in charge, it is not possible with Republicans in charge. How can you say hand outs to heroic farmers are socialist policies? They are always hard working and self reliant.

    This is how it's gonna be now. Election matter and now there's increasing precedence of not work towards the middle but pass legislation benefiting your base more. Look at more recent Dem "stars" as well. Picking winners and losers in policy is now very OK.

    Make no mistake, Obama started it with Obama care and a lot of executive ordets. One thing I fear is if Biden doesn't get it this year, post Trump you might see an even bigger pendulum swing to the left in terms of candidates. That's also when the centerist left might be super sick of the rights "winning" that they'd be willing to move left just as many center right moved to Trump post Obama.

    after seeing what had transpired this past weekend,

    Kim being a Trump surrogate attacking Trump's political foe, leading to Trump's
    willingness to overlook NK's nuclear testing which violates the agreement w Trump
    ​
    China's president for life will also be attacking Biden, w the expectation that
    Trump will reciprocate in kind, leading to the signing of a trade agreement w the PRC​
