Fortunately for me Hollic/Bobby is blocked. I can imagine the 5 alarm fire going off right now in his brain knowing somewhere out there TJones vs D-Mo has been mentioned.

    DMO faster
    DMO better shooter
    Sengun better athlete
    Sengun stronger

hard to compare bbIQ , sengun a few years younger than dmo . That alone would normally put him ahead .

Sengun right now=Dmo at his peak

overall, as far as on court production and not what if’s, don’t know how anyone could say Dmo>Sengun

He could have been the Rockets’ Jokic if he hadn’t hurt his back.

DMo would instantly be the best player on the team.

I love Harden but he didnt rooted for dmo to be incorporated and become a huge part of offense to be run tru him here...that would made rockets so harder to beat and more versatile, more resilient, less prone to scoring droughts, more fun to watch... he run him out of town instead...

he has nobody to blame for not winning anything and a reputation of being a lazy selfish guy not dedicated to winning basketball...

So it was Harden's fault Dmo sucked? And KPJ's and Silas's fault when Sengun doesn't perform well? I wonder what the underlying component between these 2 players could be

dmo was good but rockets were iso harden team... harden missed a huge opportunity to play real basketball..he preferred ariza bricking 3s over hand of defenders to dmo playmaking from high or low post...
he wanted just to get his max money and he got what he wanted...a typical ballhog max money and fame seeker that forgot the greater picture

i remember once when dmo was on the rise when dwight was out of lineup due to health problems and the first howards game back they still used dmo somewhat so as to maintain the illusion that hot hand gonna be respected... the very next game dmo usage went down the drain...just poor team management all around....they have only themselves to blame...

    Neither DMo or Sengun sucked.

Not sure your point when it's basis is flawed.

Yeah he was like 13-7 one year, then signed a 35m 5 year deal that ended up cross ways between the league and him causing a lawsuit where he settled took the money and went to China.

He wasn't an all star player but he was a decent role player and starting PF.

I'm surprised to see that DMo is only 32 years old. He's averaging under 17 minutes per game and 9 PPG though, so maybe the back really is shot.

Style of play in the Euroleague is different. Some teams have top scorers averaging like 14 ppg (and the leading scorer in the league is at 20ppg). But yeah, it's also true that DMo is not the same. Not really because of any back issues, he's been healthy for years now. He's just much slower laterally nowadays and much more of a liability on the defensive end.
