    FYI, Backe's having a solid game. 5-0.
Wish it was on MLB Gameplan. :(

One more inning from Backe and let the pen close it out.

OK, 7-0. Nothing to prove. Backe doesn't need to go back out there.

    send em back out there

that's how I'd do it in all-star baseball anyway.

He was cruising till he just nailed two in a row. Gallo gets him out of the inning thankfully.

Is it weird to anyone else that we actually have a good bullpen now?

No. That is looking at the small picture.

Phillies sweeping the Fish Sunday will be better for us. They have had little problem beating those teams at home but less successful on the road. We need one team to fall off farther and the Marlins will do for me.

Ensberg pinch-hitting.. does this mean he's playing tomorrow?

EDIT: single ;) We need his bat in this lineup for the finish

I know....and I still say it was not the "r" word - lucky breaks, allowing Willis to stay on too long and some sort of weird momentum would be more appropriate. At least that is not the proper context that word is used in sports.

But then again, it is no big deal....so whatever.

    P.S. Enough of the "R" word....damn :)

Astros.com said he was getting through batting practice ok, doubt he plays tomorrow. They didn't give a timeline on his return.

Ok, I take serious exception to that. I've been a fan since the Billy Doran, Big Bopper days. I worked, until recently, at Buffalo Wild Wings in the Woodlands where we get every game regardless and I since I almost always work saturdays, I see the game that's on. I have been to two games this year and NEVER, EVER stopped watching, even after the dismal start.

Sorry for the emotional reaction, but being born and raised in Houston, and loving all the teams here, I find nothing more insulting than being called a bandwagoner. I even paid to go the Oilers/49ers game during their last season in Houston!!

    Your apology will be expected...
