Oh that's funny. I didn't hear you mention this when the court ruled on Citizen's United.

Where were your angry remarks about the legislature's lack of input on that one?

The will of the people has shifted, obviously. Catch up.

I know many conservatives who are cool with it. Some have never had a problem with it, some have changed their opinion over the last decade or so.

nothing really to do with the opinion, and addressed in oral arguments and in the ruling.

In a democracy, we express our policy preferences at the ballot box and through our elected representatives, not by judges reading a poll and imposing them.

So you support Obamacare which was written by an elected President that whipped his opponent, passed through a majority in the House and a majority in the Senate?

meh, it's only a matter of time

First they'll come for tax exempt status which will wreck churches financially, and then they'll just do it by force if need be.

For somebody who has not followed the case and has not read the opinion, you seem to have a whole lot of assumptions.

That was a bigger ruling because gay marriage was already getting legalized anyway

Look on the bright side, this is one step closer to getting the government out of the marriage business altogether.

You want government out of religion? Stopping the subsidies to religious institutions is the first step. You cannot have both.
I would 100% okay with churches marrying whoever they want if they paid taxes to do so.

Otherwise tax-free institutions should be forced to follow the federal standard.
