    Perhaps it's impossible to have empathy for him. It would be a good thing to have sympathy for him though.

    He clearly doesn't value his life why should anyone else? When you recover from literally being borderline dead to the point they never thought you would wake up, walk or talk you should have a new look on life. His body wasn't craving crack anymore that addiction had been broken. He's weak minded and allowed himself to fall back into old habits. His best friend died from doing the same stuff. At this point I'm just tired of hearing about it. He was an awesome ball player back in the day but he's a piece of s h I t now. Next thing we will hear is he overdosed and didn't make it this time.

    Unfortunately, that was the situation with my best friend. Oh he cared & he knew it could kill him, but he...just...couldn't ...stop! That's what an addiction is. b****ing didn't help, but we were able to have some conversations about it. The only thing I could really do was be there for him.
