Well, they're only down 2 now after being down 27. The 3's started falling. Even Knight getting involved with some good passes to find the open guy.
He looked rusty. And he's playing against scrubs, so who knows. But he's been playing better as the game went on. He seems to be moving around ok, though.
Amazing how much difference Gordon makes. He plays like this and we are again top 3 team, he plays like he did first 15 games, we are one of the worst teams.
It's not like Knight was a complete scrub before injuries took a toll. I bet with some proper conditioning, he could definitely be good for either the Rockets or another NBA team.
This dude hasn't played a pro game in 653 days. No need to over-analyze every play in his G-league debut. I'm just glad he made anything.
He's got that little floater game down though. I've always felt like with the way defenses play us if we had some guys that could hit that floater it would be free all game long.
Did you notice the giant black wrap around his knee? Same thing CP3 wears sometimes during the offseason. I saw him wear it last summer, it's there to protect the knee but it doesnt allow full mobility, which is what you see with Knight in those highlights. I dont think Knight is testing if he can play on the knee, hes trying to get into game shape without hurting or overexerting himself unnecessarily.
Actually, I thought he looked pretty good. It gives me hope that he could make the Rockets rotation before long.
Dude looks fine to me. Looked slow but also athletic and some decent dribbling. I think his shooting will fit right in with us. Could be a solid player we’ve been looking for off the bench
