Remember when getting someone to take on Ryno was huge, and getting anything out of Brandon Knight was a bonus.
He's in between that large gap between great player and scrub which includes the majority of NBA players, but he's in the bottom half of those guys lol
Funniest moment for me was the push at 00.59 Serious question: at the 2 minute mark you see Patrick Beverley in the 'skills' competition. I never noticed this before, maybe because I had fan goggles on, but bro DIDN"T EVEN TAKE A DRIBBLE until he got to the half court line. He literally sprinted from rebound to the half court.. I counted 7 STEPS!! If you travel 7 STEPS when you are supposed to be dribbling, how was he not disqualified? Looking back, how dare Patrick Beverley tote his 'skills' competition win when he blatantly didn't have the 'skills' to even perform the competition properly. I still like Bev
I know this season has been rough but if Brandon Knight can contribute it will go a long way when Chris Paul is hurt. Also, it will help reduce minutes of harden too. Hot Take: Brandon Knight returning turns our season around!
Someone plz Photoshop Knight as "The Red Knight" (in the theme of Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight")
Well it’s going on 2 years for crying out loud. I was wondering if they cut his leg off or something. Even Gordon Hayward came back sooner from his horrific accident.
...most of those "best plays of his career" clips are from 4+ years back - like when PJ Tucker was in Phoenix(he went to Toronto after that, THEN Houston) or when Bazemore was a Warrior(he has been with Atlanta for a while now). They show some potential, but the fact is he hasn't played high level basketball for several years now because of injuries and he was always more promise than actual results. I'm hoping he ends up being a decent backup(shouldn't be too hard to be better than MCW) and maybe even becomes an EGO style rehab value signing but the odds are certainly stacked against him even being reasonably useful for us right now.
Because there are few NBA level players worse than MCW - just gotta play the odds here. ...btw how crazy is it that a player went from lotto pick and ROY to possibly the worst player in the league while in their prime without injuries being the cause?
