no no no. jennings is shooting 46% from 3s before this game. and he has a MUCH better midrange game than AB (non-existent???)
Don't overrate early season statistics. Jennings' jumper was a known weakness coming in. He hasn't eliminated that weakness in 1 week. Wait to see his numbers in a few weeks. I bet he'll be approaching 40% from the field and 30% from three.
i thought so too as i posted earlier. but he probably worked on it hard this offseason. and he's going to get better.
It's not like the refs are sending Jennings to the FT line, either. He has only 6 fts in 40 minutes. Once the refs give him the star treatment, his scoring will shoot up even more.
Oh, I definitely think he can improve upon it. I'm just confident it's still a weakness. You can poke around individual numbers early in the season and find all kinds of strange things. For example, Monta Ellis isn't a 43% from the field type. He's much better. He also isn't a 50% 3pt shooter. Wow, Jennings banking them in now! He got fitty!
