I, for one, am very happy about this signing.

Interesting quote during press conference. Daryl said something about us having maybe the 5th highest payroll.

I assume Les doesn't expect us to finish lower than 5th with the 5th largest payroll. It seems to only make sense. Especially to a guy like Morey.

I hope that's what we can expect. At least that's what I expect. If Yao is healthy, and with Brad Miller at back-up, then I expect us to be at least the 5th best in the league with the roster as it is currently crafted. Playing one more year with a 7'6" Yao at Center instead of Chuckwagon and David Andersen.

If Morey knows what he's doing. And in him I trust.

The Bulls weren't going to win a championship anytime soon. Yeah, they have a good team, but alot of other teams got better also.

Now he doesn't have to be damn good. He just has to be good enough. ;)

What did he mean it was a long time coming, it almost happened 12 years ago? I don't remember the Rockets chasing him back then.

I listened to the press conference live and I thought Miller was both honest and funny.

Miller is a lot tougher than people give him credit for.

When they asked him what he liked about Texas he commented that he had to watch what he says. Does he like hunting? Is that a no-no with Les Alexander and his wife?

Apparently, he's a fan of our "liberal" gun laws. And hunting/fishing.
