Actually, I'm fine with a suspension. I want him to sit against the Hawks, and since I know neither Harden nor McHale will be ok with that, the league mandating it may be a blessing in disguise. Seriously, that game against Memphis is HUGE!!! They win that and the division title and 2nd seed is actually within the realm of possibilities. Just take the loss at Atlanta(who doesn't these days other than the Raptors in what was an anomaly?) and have a well-rested Harden for the Grizzlies on Wednesday night.
If it weren't intentional , the foul should have been called the other way because of the prior contact , the contact that caused Harden to go to the floor .... the foot obviously hit James but it was incidental , totally the result of falling .... going down the foot went up. Harden went down because of the contact , they may as well have tackled him.
What a ludicrous idea. Suspending Harden would be akin to the invasion of Poland by Germany in 1939. An outrage. James was auditioning for a movie role. Three Men and a Baby VIII. LeBron is playing the baby.
I don't want him to sit. He's played every game this season, and I think that really helps his MVP prospects. I also want us to beat the Hawks, because I went to the last game against them and it was disappointing. Memphis game will be big, but if you shut down Marc you win the game.
It wasent a crutch kick though as some have said. It was just a normal kick, regardless though he kicked him and lebron acted like he got kicked by anderson silva
I can understand people thinking Silver won't rule the same way and just fine Harden...but I think that was clearly a kick to the groin. Harden can call it a reaction, and it probably was, but that's very different than just moving your leg and accidentally landing a groin kick. I would be shocked, if the NBA ignored it.
I don't know if Harden will get a suspension or a fine, but I think a one game suspension is a silver lining. He could use the rest, especially with our schedule this week.
As somebody who's attending the Hawks game on Tuesday, a suspension would disappoint the hell out of me.

Why didn't Lebron get a flagrant/tech for intentionally shoving him to the ground after the whistle blew?
This. I don't get why it was even a flagrant if it wasn't intentional. But if it was intentional, then yeah, a rejection is fair. The in-between ruling is just a cop out. I guess the refs just couldn't decide which superstar they would side with since both guys were MVP candidate. If one of them were a role player, it would have been easy for them.
