Floyd doesn't need the fight for his legacy. He's one of the all time greats with or without Manny. Wins over 11 World Title fighters in 5 or 6 different weight classifications is plenty for his legacy. Even if (when) he beats Manny, you still can't call Floyd the definitive GOAT with the likes of Sugar Ray Robinson, Willie Pep, Henry Armstrong, Joe Louis etc. One of the greatest sure, but in most people's opinion he is already there with or without a win over Manny.
