    You havent been following too closely. Several reports out that ryan anderson team was already set up. The problem was myers leonard to a 4th team. You must be getting all your info from ESPN, who want the cavs to get melo as their agenda.

    I mean, my max offer for Melo is like Ryno + 2nd + Hertlestein.

    If they are trying to leverage assets, I really don't care. I'm really not terribly interested in him to begin with.

    Melo wants to play with CP3 or Lebron. This has nothing to do with the city and has everything to do with playing with his buddies.

    All the Knicks are doing is delaying the inevitable. The Rockets have every reason to sit back on their assets and wait for them to cut him, because it will be such a toxic atmosphere to have such a respected player moaning about playing for the Knicks.

    As for him opening up to other teams, this isn't about getting off the Knicks for him. From everything we've heard and the fact he wants to play in CLEVELAND...yep...CLEVELAND. This is all about that banana boat.

    If Chris Paul and Lebron went to Utah he'd want to play in Utah.

    The Knicks think he has some new value now but his only value is to Cleveland and Houston. A team isn't trading their young assets for a 30 year something player on the downside of his career chasing a championship. Be real here Knicks...

    The Knicks want more but they are only going to get crap assets for him. They let it be known they don't want him around...he told them he has 2 teams to play for...he's not going to suddenly want to play for the Suns...the whole thing is him playing with his friends.

    the knicks are annoying af! there won't be any stars would want to play for this shitty organization in a foreseeable future! getting a melo or not, we will still be a better team than last year's when the new season starts! worse case if we can pick up one or two more shooters this summer. ( M.Ellis is not a bad option since he can still create his own shot come off bench)
