What would Kings be offering? McLemore and Thompson?

Really Marc Stein? BLOSSOMING center Brandan Wright? Careful, your bias is showing.

If they are, the Kings have the best package. McLemore has been playing like a beast. And the celtics need a big like Thompson, he is so versatile.

    Can we steal Kelly olynyk?
Would love to see Papa, Dmo and Olynyk raining threes while Dwight rest.

I don't think Dallas is offering enough-- or has enough to offer.

The reported offer is B. Wright + pick(s?) and there needs to some contract fillers like Felton.

But Dallas' draft picks are projected to be low. Wright is a useful player having a nice season, but he is also on an expiring contract and can leave Boston with nothing at the end of the season if any of the other 29 teams comes up with an offer more attractive to him.

And who else would they offer on the roster? Parsons? Tyson Chandler? Monta?

The Mavs can have Rondo, I'll take Bev everyday.

I may get yelled for this but I'll take Beverley's defense over Rondo's passing ability anyday...

Dallas gonna give up a active and powerfully finishing big like Wright for an aging Rondo when they already got Ellis... Wright was like A. Davis against the Rox...

I would much rather have Dragic than Rondo, he fits into our system better.

The only reason I agree with this is because Rondo will cost us a lot more than Bev. It will likely cost at least Dmo, Papa, and Terry (as a contract filler) along with picks

Rockets would be better off with their depth and using the TE for more.

Also I don't think I want to watch Rondo and Dwight shooting 10-25 combined FTs every night.

Yeah, I think Stein is just pushing Mav propaganda here. Wright is OK, but he's had injury history and is a free agent. dallas picks are meh: low first rounders... Ainge's not stupid, he knows he can do better for Rondo.

Wright is no Chicago era Asik or Orlando Gortat, but he has certainly proven that he deserves more playing time.

Regardless, I imagine this is a considerably less savory trade package than what Ainge had in mind

    If I may ask why?

    The rotation will be

    Dwight/Sullinger
    DMO/Sullinger
    Green/Harden
    Harden/Bev/Johnson*
    Rondo/Bev

Having Rondo and Green will preserve Harden! The team dies when he sits and we can't keep pushing him like this. Rondo has the championship experience and the ability to run the team when Harden sits... What we lose in Ariza we gain in Rondo plus the offense of Green.
