We need to have the draft quickly and decide on a site you want to use, Fanstar, Yahoo or another and I will set it up tonight, so we can get it started - along with the draft order. So I need to know from as many as possible: 1. Do we want to just go with 10 or add some? 2. What site do we use? 3. Draft, when and what type (realizing the season starts in a few days)? If so, when do we want to do it, so everyone can be there? Sorry this is rushed, just trying to put it together to keep the tradition going........
I think we have enough volunteerers to add 2 more, I'd like to use Yahoo if possible. Maybe just do it this weekend or some time this week after 5, if not everyone can do a draft this weekend.
1. Yahoo is good with me as well 2. 10 is fine, but if we add 2 make sure they will participate. 3. I am good Sunday? or Monday after 5 as well.
I always prefer yahoo, however I like the way our scoring system is right now. I prefer single player accumulation as opposed to total accumulation over a week-long period. If yahoo does not allow this type of scoring (I don't think they ever have in the past), then my vote is to stick with Fanstar.
Will most likely keep it on Fanstar as it is already set up and would require the least amount of work - if I can sign in and actually set the league up from where it was (since I wasn't the commish and don't know the passwords). I will work on getting it set up tonight/tomorrow and we will do the draft Sunday night. Draft will start at 8PM CDT on Sunday Night - due to timing it will be a fast draft (2 minutes between picks) - if I can set that up as well with Fanstar. I guess will find out shortly........not sure what I got myself into.........:grin:
Set the draft order soon as well - will use the same random generator we use for football that emails to everyone in the league - at least to those I have email addresses for.
Thanks again Rook. I know running both the fantasy football and basketball leagues is a lot for someone to take on. Really thanks. Also do you plan on adding a couple more players? If so you should probably get their emails, then randomize the draft order.

I will set the draft order at 6PM, if we only have 10 we only have 10........ The draft is set for Sunday night on Fanstar (cross my fingers it works right, never done a fast draft - FADE you might want to check it to see if it is set up right once draft order is set). Draft will start at 8PM CDT 10-27-2013, 4 minutes between pick, computer will pick if you have not picked by the time allowed, there will be 12 rounds.
