I traded down a few spots because Love & Howard were gone and I wasn't in love with anyone available at the time, not because I'm looking to play pee-pee games (ahem, people making tit-for-tat offers -- feel free to continue offering though -- just clarifying). Didn't value anyone at 6 that much more than 9. Got a likely starter in the 7th for a 9th. That's just good business.
I was expecting to get Griffin at #5 rather than Love (I have them ranked equally FWIW). Other than that, everything has turned out as expected so far.
Just trying to give potential trading partners some insight. I'll take your cookie. And when the season starts -- all your cookies will belong to me. I wont reject and draft pick trade offers, not until I see who's available when the 1st pick in the deal is up to bat.
Ultimately I felt like Blake's game has some room to grow while Love's 15.2 RPG from last season will be very tough for him to keep pace with.
I plan on making all my picks starters, at some point and time. I valued Wade a lot higher than the other players cause it woulda been hard to get someone that can put up all star stats picking from 9, imo, plus I don't want Kobe or Dirk. And hold that thought D.
