The Eagles are to the 70's as....

This is a great question: who are the Eagles of the 80's? 90'?

 

I like some of their deeper cuts.

Henry the 8th, J.J. Fad's "Supersonic", the Fatboys "Twist", Howie Mandel "Watusi", Diamond Shell & Biz Markie's "Oh What a Night" cover, "Funk Dat" by Sadat X, lotta stuff that got funding or airplay and could have gone on that list.

Fish Heads seems like it should be on there but probably not.

 

Meatloaf, Huey Lewis, Supertramp, Kenny Loggins, Hall & Oates? If you're a minority, you don't learn about them until you're old enough to listen to the soft rock station while driving to work or buying sweater vests at Dillards.

 

Any list like this that has "We Didn't Start the Fire" in it is a worthless piece of crap to me.
