I think it's absolutely true, at least the part about driving into traffic and flailing his arms. It's within the rules though. More of his points should come through assists, and jumpers, or both. Your game cannot be dependent on the whistle. His really is.
Actually he drives thru traffic with the ball exposed. He is so strong that he can do that and get a good shot up thru the contact with the added bonus of drawing fouls. The only time he really flails his arms is to demonstrate the shot attempt when a defender slashes at his arms and he actually does lose control of the ball.
He still depends on the refs. He needs to make shots, and allow others he help him get them. We live or die by his free throw attempts.
I think players need to avoid whining about calls because it can make them lose focus. The management, on the other hand, should raise hell anytime they see an officiating disparity. That's their job. Make the league aware. It has worked for other organisations to their advantage.

Does that mean you want him to take more step-backs? More 3s? I mean, he's shooting a good clip in the paint. He does go in to try and make them, but he gets fouled alot. Sometimes they flat out swallow the whistles.... I don't believe he drives without having the intention of trying to get the ball in the basket... The defense predicates on how easy or difficult that will be.
Blake travels atleast 5 times a game while driving. I cant believe they haven't even called it once. "HES SO GOOD IN TRANSITION!!!!!!1" ...hes not they just don't call traveling on him.
in game 4, Dwight went for the block, blake pushed dwight and grabbed his neck on the way down. DWIGHT GOT CALLED FOR FLAGRANT 1. should have been offensive foul.
true but he does rely on the calls too much. They aren't coming in game 6. Just gotta make shots and lay ups like the MVB does Nails and you all know it follow the money trail Wasn't as bad as the taj Gibson thing"....
If the question is whether Blake is over-using his off-hand, is it relevant what Harden is doing when he has the ball?
It's not illegal to use your arm to hold an opponent at bay to block someone from reaching in. It is illegal to push off with that arm. Telling the difference can be extraordinarily hard.
What Griffin often does is planting his off arm on the defender's shoulder, using the defender as leverage to elevate and pushing the guy down at the same time. That's pretty obviously illegal.
I wonder when it was that it became bad for an 85% FT shooter to get to the line. Truth is, Harden's never going to make shots as well as he does FT's.
Didn't taj kick him on the back? I know it was a light kick but still. On ther hand Blake grabbed Dwight from the neck on the way down
Matt Barnes says profanities to Harden's mom. Barnes is fined. Then? Who would have thought the next part to this equation would have been the referees protecting him for the next two games. Touching Barnes was the equivalent to retaliation. Anyway, the non-call on Blake after a review was ridiculous. I'm not sure how you miss that after watching the film.
This was from an article on BR: Setting aside that Harden’s reputation as a flopper is definitively overstated, he has gained a certain type of ill will from a large segment of fans. He is having an understated but brilliant postseason. He’s averaging 26.6 points, 8.5 assists and 4.9 rebounds with a 64.5 percent true shooting percentage. The only other player to ever go for 25, eight and four on 60 percent true shooting was Larry Bird in 1986. Btw all u harden haters....its time to lock yourselves in the closest for posting utter bull**** to further ur personal agendas over and over ...you know who you are, there are too many to post here
