He gives us a taste of our own medicine. It has to be similar to what opposing teams feel when they are watching Harden.
Harden does flop but not at the level that people believe or the media portrays him to. Outside of the off arm which I dont mind since he doesnt always extend the arm out which usually is what the refs look for. One thing though and it was beyond egregious last night was the amount of times Blake travels. I think he pretty much had every single type of travel possible last night and none of them were called. Switching pivot feet, taking steps prior to dribbling, shuffling feet prior to making a move in the posts, taking extra steps. He does it all the time and never gets called for it. I wish refs would take notice of it.
Spend less time on the boards. Get some fresh air. There is no grand anti-Rockets conspiracy. Basketball is fun to watch. Bingo, my man. Bingo. Hope for the best in game 6. Root for the team. Hope Harden gets another triple double & Howard pulls a Hakeem with 20/15/10 blocks. Stay positive, folks - no need to whine about the other team.
yep. it bothers me big time. in the spur-clip series its pretty much the same iirc. why none was called always beats me. but i've long learned to make peace w/ the fact how much nba refs can suck (its almost amusing).
Complaining helped Cuban way back. Can't believe nothing happened to him, but when JVG complained he got hit with that massive fine AND Stern threatened to ban him for life.
Can I just leave this in here, pls? "How King James be when he get a outlet pass." <blockquote class="twitter-video" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">How <a href="https://twitter.com/KingJames">@KingJames</a> be when he get a outlet pass. <a href="http://t.co/vfkadbsVZG">pic.twitter.com/vfkadbsVZG</a></p>— B.A. (@BdotAdot5) <a href="https://twitter.com/BdotAdot5/status/595026137010536448">May 4, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
LMAO There are people actually homer enough to believe that Harden doesn't ever flop? Newsflash : Everyone flops. The stars even more so. Harden is no different.
But when Jones travelled it was immediatelly called. Yup. But the worst thing which is the reason I activelly root against Blake Griffin and will continue to do so for the rest of his carreer is the way he instigates fights. He ALWAYS goes and tangles up with another player, sneakilly pushes/hit/armchoke and then when the other player retaliates/reacts pretends that he has been hit and gets a foul. It happens almost every game.
Harden's flops are just different than normal flopping. Blake is just flailing his arms around and grabbing his eye randomly. Harden at least draws contact first.
Flopping without the ball vs embellishing contact that does happen with the ball. Harden does one of these things while the media/opposing fans like to imply he does both of them similar to the likes of Dirk or Paul...

Flopping is Flopping. Dont' be in denial that what Harden does isn't called flopping just because he doesn't do it like some others do.
Reading that article and seeing Arash Markazi's tweet makes me dislike both Griffin and Markazi even more. Griffin needs to be called on those fouls one day he's gonna seriously injure someone.
That's what I talked about, climbing on the defender to make the dunk. And if he falls down, he flops like a fish. If he the opponent falls, he acts all macho like a hero. He did the same to Dwight in Game 4.
