Clippers are cursed. Rockets stole their heart and soul. Ever since that Game 6 Rockets comeback, Clippers have never been the same. Injury one after the other. Doc being mediocre. Time to blow it up. Doc is a mediocre coach and a horrible GM.
Chr-st almighty. The Warriors are the biggest asterisk champion I've ever seen. No Nurkic in the first round. No Griffin(or maybe Gobert) in the second round. Can't wait to see who their WCF opponent loses to injury.
The sad thing is this may buy Doc and this core another year if no one defects in free agency. Especially if they hold on and beat Utah. Would their crybaby owner really break up this group if they lose in the second round to the Warriors?
That's exactly what they are. They'll probably look back at that Game 6 collapse as what could've been but there's no way they were taking out the Warriors that year anyway. I think they're lineup was like 6 deep that year. Pop the coach and Pop the GM has been average and the Clippers have been just that. Middling Western playoff team.

if griffin was healthy and he played to his strengths I think he could have been a top 5 player. too bad....
They'd won a bunch in a row against the Rockets heading into the 2015 WCF, yet we were still up 16 in the first half in Game 1 and might've won that one(and Game 2) had Dwight not sustained a knee injury in the first quarter(not to mention being without Bev and D-Mo already).
