Saying that it's justified to punch someone until your hand breaks because of "disrespect is disrespect" is adult? We must have two reaaaally different concepts of adulthood.

[rQUOTEr]According to the people, Griffin and equipment manager Matias Testi argued at the restaurant before the altercation ensued. Testi, who has been close friends with Griffin for years and routinely banters back and forth with the five-time All-Star, was sent back to Los Angeles along with Griffin following the incident. And Griffin, who has been out since Dec. 26 with a torn quadriceps and was nearing his return, now finds himself at the center of what is clearly a serious situation. The NBA and the Clippers are investigating the matter to gain more clarity about the sequence of events.

The Toronto Police Service do not have a report of the incident on file, and police are not investigating because a complaint has not been filed, Toronto Police Service media relations officer Jenifferjit Sidhu told USA TODAY Sports in an email.

Wow. I guess the good news(what little there is) is that one of those weeks will be during the All-Star Break. The Clippers have some tough games coming up. But barring a lengthy suspension after he recovers, Griffin should be back in time for a hellish stretch for LA:

    3/13 - CLE
    3/15 - @SAS
    3/16 - @HOU
    3/19 - @MEM
    3/20 - @NOP
    3/23 - @GSW

Matt Barnes got a two game suspension for fighting a coach, I don't see Griffin getting much more than that.

    exactly lol
So it's adult to punch someone in a restaurant and then continue and chase outside and punch him hard enough to break your hand. Your own friend.
    Very mature and adult.

I didn't say it was OK to hit another person. I'm just saying I would assume the equipment guy had to do something pretty bad to get that reaction from Griffin. Griffin punched him then thought it wasn't enough, chased him to hit him again.

I want to know what this guy said or did.

Does Griffin have a history of just punching people?

Please no. Dwight needs to relax his legs for the playoff push. Dude can't even play right now and you want him to be dunking in the all star game.

That's not all when (if) he comes back Griffin will probably be suspended. But the thing is depending on the type of fracture you can be out from just a week to the entire season already, considering how BG pretty much carries the Clips I expect them to faceplant during this stretch, perhaps by the time BG comes back Clips are already in danger of being out of the playoffs.

Lol what could the dude possibly have said? Especially if it's a friend of his. I really hope we find out. It had to be hilarious.
