I'm pretty sure it was Lidge, Dotel, Wagner.

Lucky we were indeed--but it was Lidge, Dotel, Wagner. The game was over by the 7th.

The last time he pitched could possibly be his last as a Met.

I agree with you in terms of his talent as a pitcher... but the man has had a Bud Adams-like effect on both Phhilly and now NY. When he gets/gives results, its ok. But when he fails, or throws teammates/organizations under the bus, he gets more ire then he ever got praise.

Don't shoot the messenger... but regardless of his pitching performances, Billy Wagner is not universally liked in NY.

I don't recall Bagwell saying anything too mortifying. What did he used to say?

Bagwell was always second guessing management. My first recollection of Bagwell was him calling out the entire organization a degree shy of idiots for trading Brian Hunter away. His comments were on a basis that Brian Hunter had more talent in his finger nail than anybody on the team. He was also very critical when the Astros took Daryl Kile to arbitration.

It's to an extent different from Wagner who stated before he was traded that the Astros wouldn't win because they didn't spend money. Or after he was traded that he was glad to be going to a team who knew what they were doing.

But I was merely stating that Bagwell was OPINIONATED. Something Biggio wasn't very much - at least not in front of the camera.
