He went on ONE date with my mom when he used to cover the Astros back in the 70s-80s. She said it was like he was on a date with himself. He only talked about himself and it was like she was priveledged to be out with her. My mom doesn't put up with BS. She worked for the Astros, so she saw big names all the time and definitely was not star struck by him. I got to college and one of my fraternity brothers and I were talking. Somehow we got on the subject of him and he said his mom went on a date with him too. She said the the EXACT same thing about him. That's the story. Let the "Worrell boned your mom" comments begin:

You might be alone on that one. Bill Worrell is not only a terrible announcer, but apparently a terrible person as well.
i agree so much that i wrote this in bold and size 3 font some guys out there just suck and dont have a style theyre just lame. bill is awesome hes a homer of course hes an ass all public figures are unless there's a camera on him.

I like Worrel. I have spoken to him at games and he is nice. However if Clyde says, "You think?" to him to many more times he might just slug him in the eye. You can hear Bill's voice change when he says that.
I have no doubt that she is a wonderful woman, and you should believe her, but as someone who's easily old enough to be your father, I would also add that if she had, she certainly wouldn't tell you. I'll also add that the GARM isn't the best place to discuss your personal life. Try Hangout!
