Worrell is one of the best in the business. He is one of the few things about this franchise that I hope never changes.

You'd be annoying, too, if everytime you went to work, you found a totally unprepared and uncaring Clyde Drexler sitting next to you.

    Huh?

Well wouldn't it make more sense to hire the a more objective and calm commentator to pair with Bill? He's far and away one of the best and is mostly objective, he at least calls out our guys for flopping! But as I read before, from watching league pass, he's really great. I'm in Hawaii so the crap that the others out there spew is hurtful to me that someone says this about Bil

Bill Worrell is one of the best in the business. Just had to say it again, even though it has been said a lot on here. If you ever listen to other announcers on other teams... you will see why.

I would rather have my commentator be rooting for the Rockets instead of the other team.

This. Bill is the best. It's his "sidekicks" that have sucked since Calvin was shown the door.

Absolutely, growing up with those guys was really something.

Gene's been underrated for so long.

Worrell is a Rockets legend. He's been announcing games since the Hakeem days in the 80's. Clutchfans should make some new rules like no posting one sentence threads that have no substance. Limiting the number of posts per thread or per day.

hmm, i like new yorks hometown color guy, walt frazier, probably more than anyone else in the league, and there's very little homer, but more basketball in that guy.

Worrell was super annoying last night. It's ok to be mad because the Rockets were losing but he is taking homerism to a whole new level. He is starting to become the bitter, annoying grandpa.
