I don't know how he can watch this team not care about playing hard then give players votes for awards

It must be tough to be in Bill's situation and have to decide when to step away.

The guy is almost 70 and in person looks like all that travel has worn him down. This has been his primary gig for over 30 years now, and he surely knows that when he steps down from doing Rockets play-by-play, there won't be any new offers rolling in. So in his case, stepping away from this job pretty much means retiring.

Then again, Vin Scully is 20 years older than Worrell and is doing 162+ games this year. Of course, he's Vin Scully and nobody else is.

I think he just loves the team, the players, and the fans. He's a bona fide homer, but in a way, it's hard not to like him for it.

Vin Scully doesn't do 162 games and hasn't for a number of years. Most home games and almost no road games for a decade or so.

I love that Bill did this! He is a true Homer. Hahaha i wouldn't expect anything less. What is the big deal? Its a freaking award voted by the media. We make fun of celebs and their circle jerks but how dare we ruin the sanctity of sports!! Shut up already.

I wonder how many times he said, "This is the worst [whatever, mainly D] I've ever seen from a Rockets team" this year. Probably a new season record for that BW pronouncement.

Firstly, they do different things, Bill is play-by-play, Bud is color and Bill is one of the best in the business. If you doubt that pay for league pass next season and you'll see just how good we have it. Imo Bud lacks personality, they need to go ahead and put Calvin back in the booth. I gurantee there would be no more complaints.
Second, what do you guys really expect for him to do? He works for an organization that he's loyal to. If I worked for the Rox and got a dpoy and mvp vote my dpoy vote would've been : Lebron, Dwight, and Ariza. Mvp: Harden, Westbrook and Lebron.Comeback player of the year: BeasGod!! Why? because **** everybody else, I'm down for mines. Let the rest of the ass kissing media love on Curry and Leonard all they want, but if I'm Bill I'm gonna show my guys loyalty

I haven't listend to our broadcast all year. I watch the other team's guys always no matter what. That's how bad our clowns are, Drexler especially. Can't stand it anymore.
