Simmons does not like Harden and will figure an excuse not to vote for Harden when the time comes. Harden is not as loveable as Curry or even Westbrook. I hope the MVP snub inspires him like it did Dream when the Admiral got it and sets him off to wreak vengence on the entire league during the postseason.

I fear complacency or a let up if he wins the MVP.

Harden's not going to get it coz

    1) his fouls
    2) people dislike Dwight, Morey, Beverley, Terry, Josh Smith, etc.
    3) Houston is perceived as a blue-collar cowtown
    4) the infamous Harden D, which I think our very own @$&$ing board helped to popularize

Come on: Cali loves Cali and so does half the country.

Aren't y'all reading too much into Simmons' sarcasm? As recently as last week he was saying he'd give the MVP nod to Harden, although that could change on an hourly basis.

We all know Harden is unlikely to win, I'll agree with that. When in doubt, vote for the guy on the best team. Isn't that how it'll turn out?

Harden's durability is his most valuable aspect And probably my favorite part of his game. He's built to last.

    All O, very little D.

I see where he is coming from.

There is more to the game than offense.

Oh please, he wasnt even close to being that far off.

Around here, I seriously doubt that.

See above, defensive performances are important as well.

What does it say about someone who didnt even catch the main point of that post? Maybe you shouldnt have responded till you understood what he was saying.

Yet nobody seems to point this out for him. But when it comes to Harden thats all they talk about.

Simmons actually directly references how the Warriors hide Curry on D during one of his longwinded paragraphs, it is one of the ones Harden gets the advantage.

The problem about defense is that LOTS of fans totally overlook that side of the ball. Its all about how good of an offensive player a guy is in most fans minds.

What? None of your replies address what all of these replies were about - how the hell is Steph Curry like Kevin Martin, exactly? In fact, how is he so much like him that he (and apparently you?) would go so far as to call him Kevin Martin 2.0?

First statement: "All O, very little D."

    2. "There is more to the game than offense."

    3. "Defensive performances are important as well."

These relate to Steph Curry. If I need to explain how, let me know.

So basically being a player that is known for offense rather than defense is enough to be called Kevin Martin 2.0

    Got it.

That's enough to pick Martin rather than the countless other players that are primarily offensive.

No, let's just pick Martin. Ignore the fact that his playing style isn't the same at, or even close.

Take a deep look into your posts before posting. You better come correct.

That doesn't mean anything to you? It was right there in all of the replies you got. That right there is part of what makes Curry special. Kevin Martin isn't that kind of playmaker.

    Try again, sis.

You're trying to insult me by calling me female. But that does not relate to your argument.

So you're saying what makes Curry elite is his passing. . . .

Curry scored less per 100 possessions and has less win shares, but he has so many assists that ur all "OMG dude!" You know Curry is a PG and Kevin Martin is a SG. . . .

Nah, I'm not impressed by Curry as an assist man.

YOU are the one that called him Kevin Martin 2.0.

You did, no one else. Take responsibility for your own posts. Learn something. Read all the replies you got. There's a reason for this.

    You'll get there, buddy.

Not to mention ball handling, bball IQ, the ability to get others involved, etc.

I think the people who are saying that it's perfectly sound to call Curry, Martin 2.0, just dislikes Curry for some reason.

But then how can Curry be Martin 2.0 if they clearly play different positions?

I wanted Reggie Jackson at the very least if not Dragic was a no go. What would it have taken, guy got 20 assists to go with 20 something points tonight.

The Thunder were not going to trade Reggie Jackson to the Rockets. No way.

Your post basically says nothing. But now I'm "buddy" and a minute ago I was "sis." Dude ur head gamez r ill . . .

Yeah, Steph Curry is Kevin Martin 2.0. He scores less per 100 possessions. His defense noshes derriere. I take full responsibility. I am coming correct. I keeps it real. Thugg Lyfe  [bullets, tattoo]
