Pretty much every player these days who plays lots of games in the playoffs has "a history of disappointing playoff performances" - Durant, Curry, Lebron, etc. This is a function of playing lots of playoff games against really good teams - it's harder to put up regular season efficiency that you put up against the entire league.
As someone pointed out .. the Warriors got blown out by the Jazz We blew out the Cavs Teams play bad some nights. . Rocket River
Slept on? People won't shut the f**k up about how dangerous they are every time they win a game. The country really, really wants OKC/GS to be a thing.
GS, OKC,Boston, Spurs with KL, Cavs, Raptors and any other team that the Rockets may take lightly. Take one game at a time, and don't look far ahead, Go Houston Rockets!
I'd like to amend my original post above to add the rules committee and the refs interpretation of the "New" continuation rules which we have seen cost Harden 3 & 4 point play opportunities on multiple occasions as well as free throws on other occasions where they simply give the Rockets possession. They've taken points off the board in this manner multiple occasions - I think it was against the Nets I counted 11 points in a quarter the Rockets were denied (must have been a point of emphasis in that game) .... and then they turn around and call it the other way for the opposition. So - Injury Bug , GSW , refs/rules committee and the Anti-Harden rule(s).
Lebron? Lebron has been on some pretty shitty teams that performed poorly but I cant' remember Lebron ever having a bad playoffs. If by bad, you mean he played like a top 20 player of all time instead of top 5 then maybe.
Refs Thunder Cavs Id prefer not to see OKC in the first round, I don't think we will gaguging the playoff picture right now, but there's literally only a few games separating everyone after san Antonio, but i feel like OKC will continue to improve and climb higher before the season ends.
I can't predict the Thunder, their point diffentrial once implied that they were underachieving, now its about the same as the T-wolves and lower than the Spurs. They win 6 in a row then lose 5 of their next 7 (soon to be 6 of 8 after the CLE game). Some people compare them to the '07 Warriors, while they beat the 67 win Mavs, people forget they lost in 5 in a second round gentleman's sweep to Utah.
Hes had a bad game, he's had a bad series (2011 finals). But he's never had a bad entire postseason, ala: Demar and Lowry, Harden 2014, Blake Griffin,etc...
