The question is how many times did they ended in the lottery. One would think that if they just built around these picks that they would at least have entered the playoffs the past years. The problem is even choosing in the lottery, they messed things up. A pathetic way of running an organization.

If West was their GM and had been given a free hand, they would far better off.
He wouldn't have let Gasol go away easily. I'm sure he would have tried getting an athletic defender to help Pau out.

The Clipps have been worse for longer. But the Grizz basically created last year's championship team. And facilitated the strengthening of almost every other team in the league by having some part in taking on salaries/participating in three-way trades. They are essentially an NBDL team, a minor league system for playoff teams to allow their players to cut their teeth on. Embarrassing.

The timberwolves for me. They cant even get to the 2nd round with KG in their team. Even when they finally did in that 1 season, they blew it up again the next season.

Then they traded for the entire Celts team that is real bad and eventually sent them KG for Al Jefferson? I know Jefferson is pretty good and young. But an all star for someone with potential? One of the best players in the game for Al Jefferson and fillers?

Will the owner and GM of Grizz get rings for Laker's championship this year?
    They should. They contributed.
Lakers should share ring with these two morons. :D

I fully agree. That freak second round appearance by the Clippers a couple of years ago is almost solely attributable to Sam Cassell. In fact, how many perennial doormat teams has Sam Cassell taken to new heights once he arrived? He is like the anti-Marbury. Sam Cassell has been a serious winner everywhere he has gone.

*Clippers Sam arrived and led the Clippers to the Second round of the playoffs in his first year on the team. They returned to their usual ineptitude after he left.

*T-Wolves Sam led the Wolves to their only Conference Finals appearance in 2004, Sam's first year on the team. The team has been terrible ever since he left.

*Bucks Cassell led a previously mediocre Bucks team to 52-wins in the 2001 season and to the Conference Finals. The Bucks have been on a steady decline ever since.

*Nets - Sam revived a terrible Nets team with no big stars and led them to 43 wins and to the playoffs in 1998. The Nets then traded for Stephon Marbury and became terrible again.

*ROCKETS Sam Cassell helped lead Rockets to consecutive championships in his first two years in the NBA, hitting many clutch shots along the way.

Don't forget Minny lost 3 picks because McHale was paying Joe Smith under the table. 3 draft picks! For Joe Smith...

I've gotta put in a vote for the Seattle Sonics. A once fearsome and glorious NBA team reduced to playing in Oklahoma freaking City. Yeah, I know they are getting good attendance right now, but the fact that they (fans, government, previous owner, former players) couldn't do SOMETHING to keep that team in Seattle was a joke.

My vote is for the Grizzlies. Any time the Clippers(the worst NBA franchise in terms of longevity) are able to unload their problem(Zach Randolph) onto you, you win the award hands down.
