While this is true, you have to know that some people are motivated by ideology and it's those kinds of people who are acting out.

I mean, sure, it can become a story for SJW types looking to push a narrative but let's face it, those aren't really people who matter. Despite all of the whining about Bob McNair, he hasn't actually done or said anything wrong.

No way to positively paint him trying to defend Jerry Richardson. Not saying anything will come of it now, but Bob would do well to just shut up.

I think from here on out you'll have the same crowd whining and b****ing about him no matter what he does. I doubt he thinks that crowd is terribly important so I'd bet he just ignores them. That said, I've never been a fan of team owners speaking out too much about anything. They should be money and nothing more.....but at the same time players should be players and nothing more too so I guess my opinion on the subject isn't that popular these days.

Have to think this isn’t the first time you have reached this conclusion.

For sure, I'm absolutely aware that a lot of my opinions are unpopular with the ignorant unwashed masses. It's not that big a deal.

What would McNair have to say to make you come to a different conclusion?

Sigh. A good percentage of Texans fans probably agree with him.

A good start would be literally anything offensive.

McNair is 80 years old. Maybe he's reached the point where he can no longer reliably filter his thoughts before he says them.

You want to know why the Texans cant get certain Free Agents? Bob McNair. Now....players currently here understand that Bob is not important to the Day to Day stuff, but it hurts perception from the outside.

Bob needs to hand over the reins to his son.

The NFLPA is slow to the ball. I'll suggest it again. Russia.. I mean NFLPA, If you're listening.... just kneel in the middle of the field holding hands PRAYING. Bring out a priest or a minister to overview the prayer circle. If owners or anyone reproaches, call them out as fakechristians. Most of the players are religious anyways . they're always thanking god after victory.

option 2. go back to early 2000s and have the players in the locker room during the anthem.

option 3. just stand for the anthem.

    all are glorious solutions.

Bob Mcnair has been acting a little stranger than usual. Bob Kraft is besties with the donald and you don't hear much of a peep from him. Infact he allowed his plane to be used to carry kids to the March. It's time for Bob to retire and leave this team in the hands of........................

(damn I forgot how to insert spoiler tags)

I am pretty sure the anthem, flag worship, military how, and jets overhead are all political statements. I agree - they don’t belong at sporting events.
