Lou because he can create off the dribble.

I think you forgot something. Free throw.

Lou Will is one of the top free throw attempts this year. Something that Morey really really loves about a player (see Kevin Martin).

Maybe another thing you guys are forgetting is THE ELEVEN YEARS BEFORE THESE 6 GAMES where Lou has obviously been better.

Bogdanovic definitely might end up good/better, but he's not proven himself yet, and for a contender I'm glad we didn't go with the riskier option.

Bogdanovich would take up a lot of Dekker's minutes and frankly I'll bet on Dekker over Bogdanovich any day.

    1. The fact that Bojan is RFA in three months while Lou is on the books for 7M in 2018 is a GOOD thing for the Rockets. 7M at today's market rate is a flat out steal. Bogdanovic will be playing for a lot more than that next season.

    2. Morey has a higher opinion of Dekker than most on this board. Listen to the Lowe podcast where he trails off, saying that he has arguments that would put Dekker over Harrison Barnes. He probably doesn't mean better right now, but I bet he means that at that point in their careers, comparing Dekker's sophomore effort to Barnes', it's easy to see how Dekker's career arc might surpass Barnes'. It's clear that Dekker is being groomed to eventually assume the starting SF role once Ariza gets older and begins to ripen into that late Tayshaun Prince phase of his career.

I don't mind Lou, but I gotta rep my guy. It's a simple 'what if' thread, made for fun, and it'll be interesting to come back to it in a while, especially when we see how both of them have performed during the playoffs.
At least Boki and Pops are getting some love.

Bog is good and all, but Lou is better man. Lou can create for others and get his.

Lou has been ballin' out for a decade now. BB has been for six games on unsustainable shooting. No contest.

I've only really watched Lou closely since we acquired him and have not seen Bojan play much at all but the metrics say Lou and it is not close. Can't possibly make a decision based on 6 games either. For the season Lou rates 6th on RPM as a shooting guard and Bojan ranks 85th (out of 97!). In fact Lou even rates better than Bojan on defensive RPM. The more I see of Lou the more I think he has a shot of being our 2nd best player. With respect I don't think there is even a comparison.

And, as always has to be mentioned with Dekker - this could be considered his rookie season. Pretty sure he's eligible for rookie of the year since he only played in 3 games last year.

LouWill under contract at a dirt cheap price of 7M for next season.
Bogdanović about to become an RFA after this season and get (over)paid.

LouWill can create his own shot on a team void of solo shot creators (sans Harden).
