Beverley to undergo knee surgery, D'Antoni says he could miss 20 games

The stupidity of lin fans has no limits.Yeah lin is a better playmaker and scorer but to say a better defender just shows you're biased.

 

All he needs to do is hit his 3's and play solid on ball defense. Something he can do without needing a lot of time to get into the rhythm of.

 

It could take even longer depending on how he heal from surgery and how his body adapts to the game. I think he should not rush back.

 

Beverley is a walking-injury.

When is practice, exactly?

Then MDA says return to play in 2 weeks? We will be a five game road trip by then. SAC, POR, UTAH, GSW, DEN in 8 days. Will doctors really allow him to travel by plane that much? Not sure what standard rules are for several long flights after arthroscopic knee surgery.

D'Antoni's 20 game original estimate was exactly when we return from the 5-game road trip, and likely have our first full practices.

I'm not a Lin fan, just think he is better than Beverly and is certainly available more. Injuries have ruined Beverly and I don't think he will ever be as good as when he first hit the scene. People who think Beverly is going to come back and provide just what this team needs are not paying attention. Is he better than Ennis, yea. Is he better than Brewer, hell yea. Will he stay on the court, probably not. Hopefully, Morey will find something through trade, so we can have a legit defensive guard to start with Harden and be able to bring Gordan off the bench.

Until then, start Beverly or KJ when he gets hurt.

 

Noone tweeted about him attending any practice today. I just asked Feigen directly if there was a practice, and why no news on Bev. B2B coming, so I can't see him starting without one full practice under his belt.
