Why would Cleveland be interested in Bev when they have the GOAT Dellavedova?

If another team extends an offer, how long does HOU has to match or decline?

    No, it's 3 days.

That link is to something from 2010-11 or so, before the new CBA reduced the period to 3 days.

Please be more responsible when posting links. Thanks.

chicago and cleveland have no real money to offer bev.

dallas and nyk can make a large offer, but i doubt nyk will because they are focused on monroe, west, and afflalo. bev is too far down their list.

its just us and dallas. If they overpay again, great. worked out awesome for us last summer.

Thanks for the info, I figured a reference was better than an opinion but yeah, I didn't see the date on the article.

I wonder how much Llull's decision will influence Rox decision on matching another team offer on Bev's. Just waiting on Dallas to sneak in and start things.

Other than Bev I'd really like it if we kept KJ Mcdaniels. Dude could be a potential stud...or at least Ariza clone. Honestly if we kept these 2 guys and everybody we drafted I'm confident we're gonna be in the Finals this year.

Unless KJ gets WAAAAY overpaid, that trade looks great now. Llull not coming over? Fine. Rockets have the MLE to resign KJ and lock up Montrezl Harrell to a 3 year deal.

We are going to be fine.

FWIW: The max offer sheet that K.J. McDaniels can be signed to (assuming a $69.1 million cap) is 4 years, ~$47 million. If matched, it would hit the Rockets' cap as follows (all figures are approximate):

    2015-16: $5.5 million
    2016-17: $5.7 million
    2017-18: $17.6 million
    2018-19: $18.3 million

Of course, it is unlikely that a team will extend such an offer sheet to McDaniels (for which that team would be able to evenly apply the cap hit at just under $12 million per season). Also, my math may be off a little. But there it is.
