WTF is this? LOL, at first I thought it was a skit from a comedy show. The set and the show looks like a really low budget attempt at Who Wants to be a Millionaire. They should have named it Ghetto Millionaire or maybe even Thousandaire. LMAO, what tv exec approved this?
The one who's old boss, Robert Johnson, is one of maybe 2 or 3 black billionaires on the planet. Remember all those black sitcoms in the early '90s that were gone by mid-decade? Or the ones on the WB that all got pushed to a single night, with no promos, once Dawson's and Seventh Heaven hit it big? Some things sell, and some things don't.
Man, Martin, Living Single, and New York Undercover was THE Thursday night lineup at my house back in the day. I remember all my white friends absolutely could not believe we didn't watch any of Seinfeld, Friends, or ER.
This is what happens when you have a white owner. They price out the pastors and put on the most ghetto shows.
Ever since Viacom bought BET from Johnson they do nothing but stereotypical shows on that network. I rarely ever watch.
The only thing I watch on BET is the sitcom "The Game," which they are showing in syndication from the CW.
