Guys, what's your favorite time of the year to watch sports? What about in 2015?

For me it's the period between March - June for a number of reasons.

    1. NBA playoff push + playoffs
    2. March madness
    3. End of season in several leagues across Europe for football, mainly EPL
    4. UEFA CL (again real football) and mainly:
    5. No, absolutely NO fake tough guy, non-athletic, fatty sport Eggball during this period and less of delusional Texans talk shoved down our throats.

    Added bonus in 2015:

    Cricket World CUP

    November-Feb
College Football and NFL in full swing culminating with playoffs and excitement of NBA season starting and being able to watch my Rockets after a long break.

March-June is probably the overall best for me because of March Madness, NHL Playoffs, NBA Playoffs, and the start of baseball.

I enjoy September-February also though for College Football and NFL.

Most of February, July and August are really the only times when sports gets at a low point. If the Olympics are on though, then August usually covers that.

I enjoy sports in spring now that I follow soccer closely, but still nothing compares to NFL season.

November and December - when the NBA, NFL and college football are all in full swing.

    Whatever period that has these:
    -American Football
    -College Football
    -Barclays Premier League
    -NBA
    -March Madness Tourney

    So Sept-June.

Special exceptions when Olympics/World Cup/Basketball World Cup is on in the summer.

I agree with this along with the exceptions. The World Cup is probably my favorite sporting event overall and really makes the summer go by fast in those years. Summer Olympics also.

NFL wildcard weekend is probably the one best weekend. It's also a Major Bowl Game weekend for NCAA football.

    The Masters

    The Final Four

I've always loved the period around Christmas. College Bowl Season, NBA Christmas Day games, NFL playoff push, college basketball. It has it all

June - August is the worst. I sometimes stoop so low as to watch Arena Football games.

    "There's only one October."

I'm big on baseball, so having the MLB playoffs and World Series, NFL is well underway, and gearing up for NBA season. That's my favorite.

Probably the four weeks prior to the Texans season which starts with so much hope and then lasts for about a month and a half when depression kicks in. So we're talking roughly from August 10 to Oct 25.

November-February. Not even really close. Football getting intense with playoffs and championships, basketball just starting up.
