I know this seems like an odd thought, but I just watched a season finale and, we all know, that song only adds to the experience. My top 3: Nip/Tuck: The Carver. Rescue Me: Devil Not even close. LOST I know it was convoluted, and it pissed us all off at one point. But I loved the journey, and I think that was always the whole point.
Pretty much every time there was a musical montage on The Americans...unfortunately none of the are allowed on Youtube, so I can't post them.
Actually, I found a few from the Americans. But couldn't find my favorite, which was the one with "Only You" by Yaz.
“From the dusty mesa Her looming shadow grows Hidden in the branches of the poison creosote She twines her spines up slowly Towards the boiling sun And when I touched her skin My fingers ran with blood In the hushing dusk under a swollen silver moon I came walking with the wind to watch the cactus bloom And strange hands halted me, the looming shadows danced I fell down to the thorny brush and felt the trembling hands When the last light warms the rocks And the rattlesnakes unfold Mountain cats will come to drag away your bones And rise with me forever Across the silent sand And the stars will be your eyes And the wind will be my hands…”
AP Bio's theme song is better than almost any song from any show. Here are a couple from Square Pegs Devo also made an appearance.
1) I was so into Sons of Anarchy the first season. During that finale when they played this song I got chills and instantly went to iTunes to download it. Perfect ending to the first season. I never really could get back into it after that though. 2) This song was so overplayed but they picked the absolute perfect moment to play it. Brilliant song choice in one of my favorite scenes ever. 3) This was the moment I fell in love with The Newsroom. It went from a decent show I enjoyed watching to omg this is so much more.
