Best Solo Vacation Place to Go Near Fort Lauderdale, FL?

one of my best pre marriage times was a solo business trip to europe with layover night in miami.

my miami game is limited. but of course ended up at the main miami beach ,south beach area. normally not a big fan of the solo run but it was nice. good women, overall nice people. I am and was impressed. My thing is there was a happy vibe at that time. certain places have that. miami is one of those. a certain charm.

At the time, I went to a bar literally on the beach. tiki torches etc. ended up at some place called crobar and it was all pretty fun. this shows my age since crobar is now a distant memory. then go downtown for the after after party.

so admittedly Im out of loop old timer, but I suspect the places are all the same just with new names. ocean blvd I assume.

so to answer OP question it is Miami and not even close.
