    J.Cole is pretty sick. Blu is pretty good also but he'll never hit it big. Maybe Mos Def/Kweli big. Great lyricist.

    Crooked-I is good, but he isn't an "unknown" to those of us who listen.

    I agree with the poster who mentioned Nas. Each of his cds are classics. You can play each disc all the way through and hear heaven.

    Luda's last disk "Theater of the Mind" was great. But now, on the radio, I hear "How low can you go?" and it's disappointing.


    Everytime I see Drake, I get agitated. Dude rips off Lil Wayne's style, but what's more annoying is how he takes lyrics from an assortment of rappers and puts them into his songs.

    It's like a copy/paste job.


    Ransom is also an up and coming rapper with legit skills.

    I hardly listen to rap anymore. Tried listening to Weezy, but couldn't stand him. Turned that **** off within 15 seconds. Not sure why this guy is popular. His voice is horrible, and his lyrics are terrible.

    Eminem. Though I am also a huge fan of Lupe too. Not really a fan of music that's about sex and money, it gets old very quick. Music that tells a story is my kinda rap.

    those are the only rappers that i give any ear-play too.

    The less said about Drake and young money the better.

    I've been sleeping on Joe Buddens latest stuff as well but it's not bad.

    I forgot one of my all time favorites E-40... Specifically old skool Feezy reppin the bay area West Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide!!!!!!!!!! Big fan of his Cuz B-Legit as well. I figured out why I'm a fan of Bun B... it's cause he sounds like B-Legit.

    You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Codman again. So that's the reason why I don't like Drake. I knew there was something just couldn't pinpoint it till now.
