best player from 09 draft: Harden, Curry or Griffin?

I don't believe Griffin deserves to be put in this category, not until he can create some post moves and a reliable shot. But I put him on the list becasue he is a game changer, someone you have to keep your eye on. And other people on this board may see him as the best player.

Anyone with eyes and an appreciation for basketball is currently in awe of Curry, and what he's doing this playoffs. Truly a spectacular sight to see, and a shooting spree I haven't seen since Reggie Miller. He's averaging 30 and 10 in the playoffs, and his confidence is at an all time high.

So--who's the best player from the 09 draft? Harden, Curry, or Blake?

It looks as though Harden is playing through some injuries, seeing as he hasn't been the same player since February or so. But let's not forget the year that this 23-year-old, first time starter has had.

I for one am excited to see Harden next year, when we hopefully rely on him less--thus lowering his wear and tear.

People may be enticed to choose Curry because he's the "shiny new object" of the NBA playoffs, and because he's a heck of a player.

So--who do you think the best player from the 09 draft is? Feel free to explain your reasoning!

I'll take Harden by a hair. I love what Curry is doing, but he has so many ankle injuries, this could derail his career. I believe Harden is doing more with less.

If there is a similar thread, please shut this down MODS.

Can I have all three? If it's that close in your mind does it really matter?

I think Harden is the best now since he has proven he can carry a team to the playoffs. However, Curry has the potential to be special. He easily turn out to be the best pure shooter the NBA has ever seen.

certainly a fair statement. but who would you take right now? That was more or less my question--who's been better up to this point--4 years in their careers.

Harden's style certainly leads to wear and tear, and Curry has had a multitude of ankle injuries.

Harde carried our team? All of the players pulled our team into playoffs. And if memory is right, Harden's iso plays and his last second pass to teammates in last few posessions cost us the 2-3 games that pulled us from 6th seed into 8th seed-sweep series

When a player averages 26/6/5 on one of the highest TS in the league, pretty sure he has a lot to do with the results of the team.

Hmm then it comes down to where you rank each player according to position.

How high does Harden rank amongst SGs?
How high does Curry rank amongst PGs?

Seems like there's a lot more competition at PG.

Okay so if those loses are solely his fault then so are the wins.

If Griff was his teams number one option, they'd be awful. Just saying.

Dude seriously? Gtfo here with that ungrateful BS. If it want for harden we wouldn't even be in the playoffs.

Lemme guess, in your opinion Harden took too many shots away from Lin who would've carried us to the 1st seed right?

No they wouldn't. He's a superstar player with unmatched athleticism.

Everyone seems to have forgotten his rookie year.

If people are criticizing Harden for poor D, then woof, don't even bring up Curry's D.

Harden by far. Only one that can put a franchise on his back but he is awful to watch. Curry fluid game is beautiful to watch but he couldn't do what Harden does.
