Yeah I worded that weird and missed some key letters of the alphabet. Yada, yada, yada, people smoke and listen to music there on Wednesday.

Did you ever hit up Etta's or the Gallant Knight for some R&B and/or funk?

At some point I'm sure you danced with my date.

I won a free canned ham at Etta's once. My whiteass didn't know what to do with it.

As to the OP, man. Hard to do. I went to a happy hour tonight & gave folks several new options.

    I guess I'll start with:
Best Burger: FM Bar & Grill
Best side dish: Shrimp coleslaw at Tony Mandolas
    Best Fish Taco: Berryhill
    Best Margarita: El Big Bad
    Best grilled Oysters: Gilhooleys
    Best Crabcake: Vic & Anthony's
    Best Tres Leche: 100% Taquito
    Best Fideo: Laredo Taqueria
    Best Breakfast Taco: Alamo
    Best Pizza: Dolce Vita
    Best Catfish: Christian's Tailgate
Best Beef Fajita: Lil Pappasito's on Richmond
    Best Chicken Fajita: Ninfas
    Best Fajita Nachos: Teotichuan
    Best Sushi: MF

I could do this for a while. Let me know what you're in the mood for. I do run the inner loop foodie group on FB.

Ninfa's hasn't been in the family for a couple years now, I believe. I know that all the chain locations went their own way a long time ago, but the Ninfa's on Nav is now as well. I've been there since that happened though and it's still damned good and far superior to any other "Ninfa's."

Good call on the Deluxe Mixed Grill. That's usually a birthday order for me. The order for 1 can feed like 4 adults. Learned that after the first time I ordered it.
