For some reason, that Smashburger is the best I have been to. I really liked whatever I got there, but I have been far less impressed by other smashburgers. IDK what the difference is.

Well, Beck's Prime will be first on my list since it's closer (I live along Allen Parkway and their original location is on Kirby... which is basically the same street). Most of the bad parts in reviews is the price which I don't really care about so long as the burger matches it in quality.

Smashburger will probably be a "if I'm in the area" sort of thing since I don't go outside 610 that often. Still, it's duly noted.

Five Guys is grease wrapped up in a ball of aluminum. I don't understand why people like their burgers... if I go there it's because I want their fries, but the burger is meh.

Smashburger and Fudd top my list.

Five guys are overrated. Buns are too soggy and greasy.

The quality of in n out is easily better than most fast food burger chains.

    Thank you.

If in Houston, go to Christian's Totem (I-10 @ Wash AVE) ....that burger is hands down the best in town. Even over Smashburger, Five Guys, Becks Prime, (I used to do the DT tunnel location) Whataburger....

The burger over at Lankford Grocery can be great too ...at times. They've been getting a lil inconsistent lately.

Five guys is very overrated. I tried Becks and it wasn't bad, but all the juices from the burger made the bread soggy.

Fudds gets my vote for best burger.

I'm a fan of In N Out as much as the next guy (or gal), but come on now...its good as far as fast food burgers go.

Kobe burger at Max Wine Dive on Washington is damn good.

Or just get some quality chuck meat and season it with salt and pepper and grill it medium rare for a damn good burger.

Its kinda hard not to make a good burger.

That must be it. I must have gone to the one In-N-Out that doesn't put the drugs in their hamburgers.

    This.

In N Out is good for fast food, but plenty beat it.

Lot's of places use good chuck meat and quality seasoning on good bread. It's not that hard if they're using good ingredients.

    Champ Burger in Downtown
    Beck's Prime
Fuddruckers ...love to put their fresh pico on it.
    Willie's Icehouse

Been meaning to try Five Guys and Smash Burger.

But for a fast food burger (don't consider the above to fit that category).... Tornado Burger in Stafford easily tops everything. Get the hot and spicy, if you got a deathwish.

I would like to pull the overrated card on Five Guys. Its good but nothing special. The fries are the best part, they hook you up with so much. I like Tornado Burger.
