you are ignorant. europe has around 50 countries and they all OBVIOUSLY have the same economy. and 3 countries in southern europe with that singular all encompassing economic policy clearly shows that it is all wrong, and that bernie sanders is wrong and none of his ideas would help this country.
Bernie to make the Decision soon. <iframe width="506" height="284" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pTIF5JTQ4ww" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Enjoy hearing Sanders speak truth, but as a progressive Democrat with a pragmatic streak, I ultimately want to insure that our country does not regress further into the abyss that is the GOP controlled Congress. Hillary, baggage and all, is easily our most "electable" candidate, and consequently, you won't hear me denigrating her regardless of whether she doesn't check off all of my own scorecard requirements. I want to see the GOP margins in Congress lessened or eliminated and this will take a candidate with a broader national appeal than a candidate that might more closely mirror my entire philosophical metric ala Sanders or Warren. If Sanders and Warren do nothing more than move Hillary toward the more progressive side of center they will be successful in my view. Just win.
Sanders, Warren and Paul are all awesome. Different ideas and ideologies, but they all have the best single attribute for a politician: They aren't corrupt.
Straightforward common sense ideas that anyone in the middle and lower class should understand and embrace? Yes please.
Who said he could win? Unlike Ted, Bernie wants to stop the current disastrous course of trickle down, stagnant wages, offshoring, give away trade agreements, and corporate domination of politics.
Bill Clinton was the best republican president we ever had... Corporate welfare, shipping jobs overseas, the welfare to work debacle, Columbia trade deals, horrible immigration laws... He did a great job of protecting the rich and taking a dump on everyone else and didn't get the country in a world war. Sanders and Warren may not be able to move Hillary anywhere because she's probably already brought and anything she says may just be lip service.
Don't know him well enough to pigeonhole him. Here's an interview with him though that's interesting: http://www.npr.org/blogs/itsallpoli...cript-nprs-full-interview-with-martin-omalley
Because if we don't have hope we will get real depressed. You couldn't be excited about Ted and his discriminatory, repressive, anachronistic policies. We're gonna keep gays from marrying, woohoo. We're going to allow selective discrimination, oh boy, we're going to choke off government services to the poor and sick, Jesus be praised! That's why Hope and Change wins and lower taxes for the rich loses on the national scale. On the local scale you can appeal to saving people money and getting them more from the government, you can't do that on the national scale.
