Plus....I don't think holdouts for rookies are ever beneficial, but for a #4 pick RB, could be very damaging
Cedric doesn't have breakaway speed, which is probably the reason that he never got over the 2000 yard hump at Texas. But his strength is that he's VERY durable, and wears defenses down. By the 4th quarter, defenses are sick of tackling him. He's also really good in short yardage situations because of his ability to keep his legs moving and get an extra couple of yards. He won't be a Barry Sanders by any means, but he has a chance to be a poor man's Emmitt Smith.
As a Bears fan, that the main reason they drafted him, to use him as a 25 to 30 carry back, I think he'll do fine in the long run, just glad he's finally in camp. Orton could be a huge surprise this year and the D is really strong, Bears might surprise a few people this year.
