Yeah I was so confused when I turned the game on half way into the 1st and none of the starters were in. These lackadaisical starts can't be tolerated if this team really has championship aspirations.

Not to be a McHale apologist, but he did something even more ballsy.

He benched Harden in game 6.

And, sadly, it probably cost him his job this season.

This team will remain uncoachable until we get a real coach.

It looks to me like people are making things up on here again. Harden is not used to be being taken out so early. He plays a hell of a lot of minutes so when the new group came in he assumed he wasn't going out. Smith had to tell and he immediately started walking toward the bench. This shows how people just make things up on this board on the daily.

    Goddammit Harden.
Show some ******* leadership and fire up the bench unit that is coming in.
Its the least he could do, considering he couldn't do anything on-court.

I agree. Of course he was surprised. The whole point was to piss him off, which I suppose it did. He didn't play well in the end, but it was a good wake up call from JB. I hope they're all benched like that every time they come out flat.

Yeah absolutely I liked the call by JB. Ofcourse maybe if that wasn't the starting 5 he had in it would not have been that big of a problem. Smooth should be starting IMO.

This. I really think harden was stil upset about this and that caused the mutiny.

James Harden was sick that game and never showed any signs of being "upset" that game. In FACT he cheered from the bench with a big smile on his face. Another example of people making things up on here.

This is the reason people dislike Harden. You give up a bucket on one end and then you just casually mosey up the court, like the only reason you are even going that fast is because of the 8 second violation rule. Once you barely make it past halfcourt before 8 seconds, you just stand there, unpressured, yet almost losing control of the ball while dribbling. Then you don't even make any type of basketball move until 10 seconds left on the court. Once you do make a basketball move, you lose control of the ball again trying to drive past Tucker. He only got fouled on the loose ball, meaning Harden lost the ball by himself, not deflected or anything.

The feeling you have would require James Harden to be the pettiest person to ever live on earth. If he had that much ego that could it turn it on or off at will he wouldn't be losing this much because his ego and pride wouldn't allow it. Stupid feeling is stupid.

Haha he looks like he's about to break down from nervousness. Maybe I'm reading too much into a 2 second reaction but I'd be nervous too; this is a players' league.
