His dad is from the Bronx moved to Australia to play ball in the NBL, his mom is Australian born. His dad is Dave Simmons is 6'9 who was no slouch in the NBL, Ben's godfather is an assistant coach on LSU. Barring injuries he will dominate the league... this is a deep draft if a lot of these freshman come out

Hasn't really been answered but can he SHOOT though? He's young, obviously, so I think he'll be able to work on it if he's not consistent. Lebron isn't even really a good jump shooter after more than 10 yrs in the league but he's so good at just about everything else. Comparisons to Lebron seem to be legit though if that's the case.

Yes, it is. Simmons with more length.

Another one I think of is Simmons is what Lloyd Daniels could have become. That's a very close body type, length, and skill set. Although Daniels was a better shooter than Simmons is right now.

Simmons seems like such a beast. Definitely doesn't seem to have much bust potential. So many translatable skills to NBA.

Unfortunately he plays on a garbage team. Unless the refs start fixing their games they won't make the NCAA tournament.

LSU is clearly still growing as team heading into key schedule SEC conference play ... Also waiting for 2 of its better players to start up in the next two weeks at full force.
