Melendez could be in line for the next title shot against the winner between Eddie Alvarez and Michael Chandler. Not sure if he has to go through an 8-man tournament to get a championship shot.

The fights were "meh" but the end of Rampage's fight was pretty funny. Not sure wth King Mo was doing in the ring after the Rampage-Mpumbu fight. I'm not sure but I doubt they have the two fighters that advance to the next round, come together at the end of the final fight of the night to meet up. Either way, was funny from a fan perspective. Especially since Mo didn't do crap in his fight but seemed to take it personally that Rampage said he wasn't finished and was the best, blah blah blah.
