Maybe the problem in New York isn't Isiah. Maybe it's the culture of the franchise that has been encouraged by an owner that is willing to sign off on any player to be overpaid. I think people seem to forget that the GM in New York before Isiah was equally as horrible in terms of giving large contracts to players that didn't deserve them. One guy generally considered to be the worst GM in recent history was Isiah's predecessor. Isiah certainly hasn't made the situation any better in New York -- but the problems he's suffered through aren't entirely his fault. We'll see how he does as a coach/GM. I suspsect that he won't have much more success, but I'm willing to at least give him time to prove me wrong/right before completely writing him off.

I'm hoping the Knicks will bomb this year again.. but not like they're new to the idea..

I'm not rooting for any team that has Marbury and Francis on the same team (Actually I don't root for any team that's not called the Rockets).. I hope the Raps will be above them come April.

    1) It was against the Celtics

    2) Paul Pierce did not play

    3) Allan Ray, Luke Jackson, Gerald Green played quite a bit.

    4) Even though Pierce didn't play, the celtics dominated the action early when they had the rest of the starters in. They had a double digit lead and then Telfair left for the police station, AJ and Perkins came in, Green came in for Waly, Ray came in for Tony Allen. Then the knicks made a run and got back in the game to win.

Not sure how anyone could justify saying the Bulls are overrated.

They lost their first two playoff games last season in Miami by a total of 12 points before eventually bowing out 4-2. They've added Ben Wallace and PJ Brown as starters and bring young talent like Deng, Khryapa, Duhon, Sweetney, Tyrus Thomas and Sefolosa off of their bench. If anything, they would get an even higher rating if they weren't in the same division as DET & CLE.

I think we all know it takes more than talent to win... I think they will have a mediocre season. I really don't think they will gel and play as a cohesive team - there really isn't a good 'team player' on their whole roster

If they develop good chemistry I predict the Bulls will surpass both Detroit and Cleveland this season. IMO, they are obviously a Finals contender.

That is true.. but for me, the only reason why I sided with Francis was because he wore that Rockets jersey. Once it was off, I could finally express my displeasure for him freely. It was the same kind of relief I got when D Wesley signed with the Cavs.
