A properly motivated melo who is your third gun is going to be a sight to behold. Can't be a ball hog if paul and harden only give it to you in the right spot at the right time. I'm not sure Melo has ever had that opportunity to shine like he will have in a few months.

 

At this point I assume it's going down. I'm just excited to see what the trade actually is and who called the right info. If the potato is a phony, it's like telling Santa clause isn't real all over again

 

The Rockets are normally very discrete about their negotiations, and the Knicks have no reason at all to release the idea that they are "confident" a deal will get done with Houston.

I really wonder if this is a play by the Knicks.

 

Thursday? I don't think that's an acceptable outcome.

 

Or they've agreed on a deal but are looking to sweeten it as speculated.

 

By Thursday, can you imagine how many Melo threads there could be ??

CP3 aint no spring chicken and has had his share of injuries....
Supposedly harden got all butt hurt for being stepped at after game 5 and that's why he decided not to try in game 6.... how's that gonna work with CP3 ridin his ass...?
Who knows what kind of depth - or even full starting lineup we'll have when all is said and done - i remember our previous 'big 3' losing with Matt maloney as our starting point guard....
Honestly, coy or not.... MDA's minute management and short rotations sucked last year - and now we're adding older guys to the mix...

so while I could see the potential for Melo to turn into a big negative.... we're 'upping our risk profile' cause thats what we have to do to have a shot...

so wtf... you cant hit a dinger unless yer a swinger!
